The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is taking action to protect the health and safety of our nation’s patients and providers during the  (COVID-19) outbreak.

GOVERNOR'S EXECUTIVE ORDERS
  • Executive Order 202-14:  includes ability for guardians to designate a person in writing to speak for their relative if they are unable, PPE moving from one organization to another and ability to witness remotely.  
  • Executive Order 202-1: Subdivision (2-b) of Section 4002 of the Public Health Law to the extent necessary to allow a hospice residence to designate any number of beds within such facility as dually certified inpatient beds;
